The pop-up shops for Saturday May 20th are as follows:
Josh Benkert Tintype Photography
~Offering 1850’s tintype portraits to the public, also known as ferrotypes or melainotypes. These photos are one of the earliest forms of photography in history. This process consist of a very large amount of lighting and for the portraits the sitter/subject/person needs to be able to sit still for several seconds. I will need 20 min of time with the customer for the shoot and the plate will be available for them to take home with them by the end of the event. Josh will also have tintype artwork available for purchase.
*Wild & Free AND Black Forest Bakery
~A collective of women who were searching for a way to bring back to the community while working with raw, natural and organic materials. This allows us to appease that inner need and drive to create, and an opportunity to do so with ethically sourced and homegrown materials. Each member of our tribe brings something unique and original to the table including; jewelry, bath & body products, baked goods, plants, clothes and home decor.
Celebrate the art of analog communication. Every card and framed quote is hand typed on a vintage typewriter and adorned with a real vintage postage stamp from my collection. Slight imperfections in the old type and variations in the stamp cancellations mean that each piece is one of a kind.
*Jelene Britten Designs
~Jelene transforms the ancient arts of glassworking and chain mail for modern women. The collection includes both luxurious statement jewelry as well as classic everyday pieces that are sleek, stylish and comfortable to wear. Many pieces incorporate glass beads and rings that Jelene makes in a glass studio. The designs use clean lines and pops of color that will speak to your unique personality.
