Take a Dip

Berwyn boasts 23 parks facilities and over 500 activities. With not one, but two, park districts, a recreation department and an active public library, your options are practically endless. Whether you've got toddlers or teens, there's enough to keep them busy year-round - indoors or out. Or if you're looking for a little "me time," or have too much of it, there are plenty of options for adults.

Take a fitness or self-defense class or join a sports league to get in shape and meet your neighbors. Prefer more leisurely activities? Join the monthly Adult Book Discussion at the library, dig up some dirt with the gardening club, write that novel you've always dreamed of with support from the Berwyn Writing Club, or get the motivation you need to finish that afghan at a monthly meeting of the Knit & Crochet Guild of Berwyn. Perform some art with the help of a ballroom or Salsa class, learn to play the piano or caribbean drums, or take in a play at the critically-acclaimed 16th Street Theater.

For families, Berwyn offers an array of activities, including soccer leagues and camps; public pools, skate and water parks; martial arts classes; summer day camps; before & after school programs; arts & crafts; music & performing arts classes; summer reading programs; and teen gaming clubs.
