Peter C. Budd Featured in Summer Artist Series
The Berwyn Arts Council, devoted to the expansion of a diverse artistic community, the development of arts education, and the promotion of the arts in Berwyn, continues its 2012 Summer Art Series Peter C. Budd’s showcase “Fantasy vs Reality”.
Peter C. Budd went to the Coombe College of Art in Croydon, England. He studied commercial art and later became an interior designer. When American Rock and Roll engulfed England, this style of music inspired Peter to become a lead guitarist. He toured Europe for many years and eventually immigrated to the United States. Peter has played with many groups and currently plays with the BLUE LINCOLNS.
In his downtime, he is an avid photographer and artist. His sense of humor had led him to create a surrealistic group of drawings. His photographs span five decades of travel throughout America and Europe.
The 2012 Summer Artist series is co-sponsored by the Berwyn Rt66 Museum which hosts the exhibits. The Rt 66 Museum is located at 7003 W Ogden in Berwyn.
Opening Night is scheduled for Friday, August 3rd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the exhibit continues Monday, August 6th through Friday August 10th. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
