Americana and roots music fans will find a full menu of talent at FitzGerald’s 36th Annual American Music Festival brought to you by FitzGerald’s, 93XRT and Miller Lite. The 4-day event (June 30-July 3), the longest running festival of its kind in the Chicago area, features more than 50 acts from Chicago and around the country. The festival grid with exact times will be announced soon. Food will be provided by Tom “Festival” Cimms who makes his specialties exclusively for the festival —a delicious mix of classic American and New Orleans favorites.
The Festival takes place rain or shine on three stages — club, tent and SideBar. Hours are 4:30PM to 1:00AM June 30. 1:00PM to 3:00AM on July 1. 1:00PM to 1:00AM on July 2. 4:00PM to 2:00AM on July 3.
Advance tickets, $30 (June 30) and $40/day July 1-3. Tickets are on sale now and are available at TicketWeb and in person at FitzGerald’s. $5 discount the first hour they are open. Children 12 and under are welcome with parents until 10:00PM. Tickets are $5; no children’s tickets will be sold in advance.
